Alfred Schnittke String Trio

Lost Dog New Music Ensemble presents the second half of our Schnittke Mini-Festival with his String Trio, a powerful, emotionally devastating masterpiece from the composer's final years. A Window Always Open On The Sea is a luminous, reflective work from Marilyn Shrude, one of America's finest composers, and Zygiella's Visions from the up-and-coming Philippe Bodin rounds out the program with a delirious piece about a hallucinating spider spinning a psychedelic web of music. Complimentary reception to follow.
